About 2H’s Blog

Welcome to 2H’s blog! We are the children from 2H at Anderson’s Creek Primary School in Warrandyte. Warrandyte is in Victoria, Australia.

Warrandyte

There are 21 of us in 2H and our teacher is Anna Henderson. We use our blog to share all the great things we are learning and let you know what is happening in our class.

Commenting

Please leave a comment on our posts! Leaving a comment is as simple as this…

  1. Click on the heading of the post you wish to comment on
  2. Scroll down until you can see the “Leave a reply” section
  3. You will be asked for your name (you can use a nickname) and email address (this is not published)
  4. You will also need to write the “spam word”
  5. Click “submit comment”
  6. Your comment WILL NOT appear straight away. It is sent to Ms Henderson via email for approval first. If your comment is okay it will soon appear on the site!

What is a blog?

If you are unfamiliar with blogs, they are like online journals. Blogs are websites where administrators (in our case Ms Henderson) can add posts which are displayed in reverse chronological order (that means the newest posts come up at the top of the page). There are panels on the side where you can go to past posts and view recent comments.

You can subscribe to our blog instead of checking all the time. This means you will get an email when there is something new on the blog. Click on the link on the right hand side to do this.

More on Blogs…

Blogs are great because you can share things with a wide audience. Instead of Ms Henderson just seeing the students’ work, all of the parents and visitors from across the world can view 2H’s work and leave comments. Using blogs is also a great way for students to improve their ICT skills.

For more information on blogs, this video clip is an excellent, simple explanation of what blogs are all about. Check it out!
